Cody Grubbs joined DPI Security in 2026 and serves as Regional Security Manager – Florida. He oversees Florida security operations with a focus on leadership, operational excellence, and proactive risk management. His investigative expertise, tactical training, and commitment to developing high-performing teams enable him to deliver effective security solutions with professionalism and integrity.
Cody is an accomplished security professional and former law enforcement officer with eight years of experience in patrol, criminal investigations, training, instructing, leadership, tactical operations, and public safety. As a Sheriff’s Deputy, a Field Training Officer and later as a Detective in the Violent Crimes Unit, he mentored new deputies and investigated complex felony cases, which included the successful resolution of multiple homicide investigations. His experience includes managing critical incidents, collaborating with partner agencies and making sound decisions in high-pressure environments.
Cody is a certified General Instructor and High Liabilities Instructor. He has extensive training in defensive tactics, firearms, Gracie Survival Tactics, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and other various martial arts. Cody also has training and an experienced skill set in tactical response, providing expertise in threat assessment, de-escalation and personal protection. Cody holds a bachelor’s degree in criminology with a minor in psychology.
