Steven Bubar serves as Portland Area Security Manager for DPI Security.
Steven’s more than 5-year tenure with DPI began as a Contract Security Supervisor in March of 2019, a position he held for two years. His exceptional performance led to his promotion to Contract Manager, where he served for more than a year and consistently demonstrated extraordinary leadership. Steven then took on the role of Manager of Portland Security Operations. Despite the short duration of six months, he made a significant impact through his ability to handle complex security situations and manage large teams effectively.
Steven has been Portland Area Security Manager since October 2023, overseeing all security operations in the Portland area. Given his experience, expertise, and commitment to excellence, he continues to make valuable contributions to our organization and the communities we serve.
Steven has a great passion for serving his community and country and brings his combined 14+ years of Military Police and Civilian Police training and expertise to DPI. Steven has been a member of the Army National Guard for more than 14 years as a Military Police Officer, and has also been serving Columbia City as a part-time Police Officer for over 7 years. He has worked in the private security sector since 2009, with positions ranging from Security Officer, Supervisor, and Manager, all the way up to Director of Loss Prevention, Safety and Risk Management.
